Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! There
isn’t enough time, paper, or ink to share with you everything
God is, and is going to do through Mount Pisgah Baptist Church. The possibilities are endless, and the potential is even
greater. Before Mount
Pisgah Baptist Church was a God
has blessed Mount Pisgah Baptist Church to be one of many societal
catalysts,
and Christian models within the Bloomington, Normal Area, State
and the Nation for many years to come.
I recall reading a passage of scripture in the Bible, where
the Prophet Moses stood on the highest point (PISGAH) OF Mount
Nebo (Deuteronomy 34:1). God wanted to show him all the land that he had promised to
give to the seed (descendants) of Abraham (Genesis 11:5-7);
Deuteronomy 34:4). As
Sister Rita Clark would say, “Well, Praise Him!”
I’m standing where Moses stood!
And, our Heavenly Father is showing me everything he had
revealed to the Prophet Moses.
Will I be one of the many who will get to the
“promised” land? I
don’t know. But
what I do know is that “we as a people will get to the
Promised Land.” I envision
“promise land” benefits for the faithful, captive, broken
hearted, and the poor. I
envision
God sending laborers into Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, who will
have the skills and deep commitment to serve where they are most needed
and useful. I
am truly thankful and privileged to serve with so many other
“FAITH WALKERS” who have the ability to conceive a dream and
the courage to believe it can and will happen. I believe Mount Pisgah Baptist Church has been ordained of
God to serve this present age, as we continue to “EXALT THE
SAVIOR; EQUIP THE SAINTS; EVANGELIZE THE SINNERS.’ W.B.F.

conception in the year of 1865, God had predestined, “her” to
be the “Mother Church,” and or seeding ground for numerous
Pastors, Ministers, Deacons, Laity Leaders, Church Fellowship,
Religious Institutions, and Community Leaders, etc.
